Welcome! I am the new principal at Imlay City Christian School: however, I am not new to ICCS. I came to Imlay City Christian in the Fall of 1981 to begin my teaching career having just graduated from Calvin College with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education, specifically Learning Disabilities. I earned a Master's Degree in the teaching of Reading from Oakland University in 1985. I currently teach the first and second grade class in addition to my principal responsibilities.

 

I am a wife of 26 years to Allen and we are parents to four children, all of whom attended and graduated from Imlay City Christian. I am also a 4-H leader for Green Acre Kids and have been active with the GEMS Girls' Club at Imlay City Christian Reformed Church. In the spare time I find, I enjoy playing tennis, volleyball, watching my children in their sports' activities,and reading good historical fiction.
